Headway Bury
We’re a charity based in Bury who provide information, support and social activities for people suffering from acquired brain injuries. We provide lively, monthly drop-in sessions where members can chat, engage in arts and crafts, quizzes and bingo. We have regular activities such as Circus skills, Tae Chi, belly-dancing which are fun (and optional!).
Here at Headway Bury we are part of a network of over 120 local Groups and Branches of Headway – The Brain Injury Association. Headway supports people living with brain injuries throughout the UK and offers a wide range of services, including rehabilitation programmes, carer support, social re-integration, community outreach and respite care. The services available will vary, depending on local needs and resources.

Monthly Drop-In Service
We provide a fun and welcoming monthly drop-in service. Our sessions are friendly and welcoming where members can chat, engage in arts and crafts, quizzes and bingo. We have regular activities such as Circus skills, Tae Chi, belly-dancing. All our activities are optional, if you’d prefer to sit and chat with a brew – you are very welcome to!
